David Long RIBA Director
David graduated from the Polytechnic of Central London in 1989. He has worked for several practices based in London and Paris, including Brunet Saunier Architectes, Santiago Calatrava, and Kohn Pedersen Fox where he was appointed Senior Associate Partner. He has managed projects in a wide range of locations, including Paris, Frankfurt and Tel Aviv. In 2000 he set up David Long Architects.

Nikos Charalambous ARB, RIBA Senior Architect
Born in Greece, Nikos graduated from the National Technical University of Athens, before completing Part III from the University of Westminster. He joined DLA in late 2009, after working for BDP, Architects D.A.S., JSL Architects and Surface Architects where he was the project architect who delivered from detailed design to completion, the RIBA award wining Birkbeck Film Studies Department and the Queen Mary University Lock-keepers Graduate Centre.

Sophie de Renzy ARB Non-executive Director & Practice Manager
Sophie, who holds dual French-British nationality, graduated from the Polytechnic of Central London in 1989. She joined DLA in 2001 after working with Sheppard Robson and Prior Manton Tuke Architects in London, and previously with Brunet Saunier Architectes in Paris. Sophie represents David Long Architects in France.

Linda Byrne BA (Hons) Graphic & Media Design Marketing & Graphic Design
Linda, from Scotland, studied Graphic and Media Design at the London College of Printing, graduating in 1998. Linda worked for the Design Studio at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, and Atalante-Paris, before returning to London to set up her own practice. She has a keen interest in consultation-led design with community groups, and a long-standing obsession with typography..

Alexis Bourrat DPLG Associate Architect in France
Alexis, who is French, trained at the Ecole d'Architecture in Nancy, completing his studies in 1982. Since then he has worked for several practices in France, notably Santiago Calatrava Paris office for 14 years where he was responsible for the Saint Exupéry train station in Lyon, the ‘Europe’ bridge in Orléans and Liège train station, Belgium, which has just recently been opened. In 2005 he formed his own practice.
